Tips on flying to New York
New York City can be a little intimidating. It’s big, it’s loud, and it’s busy. But, if you keep a few tips in mind when you visit New York, you’ll be good to go.
New York Airports:You can choose flights to one of the three nearby airports in New York - John F. Kennedy Intl. Airport (JFK) in Queens, LaGuardia Airport (LGA) located east of NYC and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) nearby New Jersey. While LaGuardia is one of the busiest airports in the country and is largely for domestic flights, JFK gets most of the international traffic. There are plenty of hotels, cafes, bars and transportation options around.
New York Transportation: Once you grab one of our flights to NYC, the next step is exploring this incredible place. New York City has changed a lot over the years, and is incredibly safe. It’s known to be a walking city, so you can pretty much cover your neighborhood on foot. For long distances, use the subway system; it’s quick and reliable and although it might look confusing at first, it will take you no time to figure it out. New York also has a pretty convenient network of taxis and cabs.
Things to do in New York: Take a ferry out to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty, wander through Central Park, visit the colourful and bright Times Square and climb up the Empire State building! There is no limit to fun things you can do in one of the largest cities in the world. Don’t forget to explore the nightlife in the “City That Never Sleeps”.
