Brand Manager, International Students

Lead hyper-scale growth and retention efforts for all international student audiences (Chinese, Indian, Korean, etc); lead and execute the content strategies for all international student audiences, including key landing pages, organic social and blog, that is relevant and engaging while also achieving SEO and conversion goals; recruit brand ambassadors, loyalists and advocates for the StudentUniverse brand; be the brand guardian for all international student audiences, ensuring consistent tone of voice at all touch points both internally and customer-facing; monitor market trends as well as trends among the target audience and share with the organization how those trends should impact marketing and product efforts; own the strategy for consistently gathering actionable customer feedback and sharing it with the organization to drive product innovation that will delight the customer and lead to increased loyalty and sales; manage communications with customers and public sentiment through social media and review sites; manage media relationships, identify opportunities for comment and PR exposure on relevant topics; set relevant Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to define and measure success; and be a stakeholder in cross-functional team/taskforces that require brand oversight for the international student audiences.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Linguistics or related field and three years of experience as a Market Development Strategist, Market Research Analyst, Marketing Specialist, Brand Manager or related occupation. Requires three years of experience researching the behaviors, travel trends & communication preferences of the StudentUniverse Chinese International Student audience. Requires two years of experience building partnerships with the Chinese Students & Scholars Associations (CSSA's) across US Universities. Requires one year of experience with community management and marketing promotions on Chinese social media platforms like WeChat and Weibo. Also requires fluency in Chinese for communication with student audiences in China. Pre-employment processing for this position requires passing background checks.
