Let’s be real. There’s nothing better than grabbing your friends and temporarily escaping your everyday troubles. I like to live by the rules that a “Girls Trip” is needed at least once a year to maintain your overall sanity. Whether your group is looking for a luxurious spa day, lots of shopping or relaxing on the beach (or all three, duh), we’ll help you find the perfect destination for your next getaway.

Savannah, Georgia

With average temperatures never lower than the 60s and no open container laws, Savannah is a no brainer for a girls trip. Take a stroll along the river, do some shopping on Broughton Street and of course, pedal your way through the city on a Savannah Slow Ride tour (if you’re 21+). We promise, it’s worth it. If you’re not 21 quite yet, a haunted tour of the city is just as good. Get your fill of delicious southern food at a variety of restaurants including Paula Deen’s the Lady and Sons or Treylor Park. Looking for a fun day trip? Take a 45 minute ride to Hilton Head and post up on the beach. Cheers to that.

Nantucket, Massachusetts

The definition of perfection. This quaint little island off the coast of Cape Cod is the ultimate escape from chaos. While it may be a bit hard to get to for some of you, it’s 100% worth it. As soon as you get off the ferry (or plane), you’ll immediately feel at ease. The ocean breeze, infinite blue hydrangeas and the sound of seagulls and waves…ahh you can just feel your worries slip away. Live the high life here for a few days and relax on the beach, enjoy some top-notch food or walk around the cobblestone streets downtown. Believe us when we say, Nantucket is unlike anywhere else in the US, and is definitely worth a visit.

Charleston, South Carolina

This southern gem is the perfect destination for any kind of girls trip. First, to satisfy your Insta followers, you have to go to The Battery. If you’re feeling adventurous, rent some bikes and take a ride to this row of iconic, Southern-style mansions right along Charleston Harbor. When you’re done admiring the view, put on your best hat and head to Magnolia Plantation for a historical tour as well as some of the most beautiful gardens in the US. Ready to relax? Put your toes in the sand at Folly Beach or Isle of Palms, two of Charleston’s top beaches. If you’re visiting on a Saturday between April and November, you have to hit the farmers market in Marion Square Park for an amazing smoothie and food truck snacks. Just trust us on that one.

Nashville, Tennessee

If y’all are into the live country music scene, Nashville is a great choice. But even if you aren’t you’re still pretty much guaranteed to have a great time. Looking for some retail therapy? Stroll down 12th Avenue South and pop into all the unique shops and boutiques. While you’re walking around the city, be sure to stop for a pic at the famous murals, including “The Gulch,” aka the Wings Mural that we’ve all seen on Insta a million times…but you gotta do it too or you’ll regret it. Looking for some good grub? Hattie B’s is a must for the best hot chicken of your life. Follow it up with some cocktails and dancing at one of Nashville’s most hip bars, Acme Feed and Seed. If you want the classic, Nashville honky tonk experience, be sure to make a stop at Robert’s Western World too.

Aspen, Colorado

Looking to have a few cozy nights in (maybe with some wine?). Look no further than Aspen for your next girls trip. You don’t have to be a big skier to enjoy this city. Although, if you are, Ajax is one of the top skiing mountains in the country. Adventurous bunch of gals? Depending on the season, hike in the majestic Maroon Bells, the most photographed mountains in the world, go paragliding off the beautiful slopes or try white water rafting. Got some $$ to spend? Shop till you drop at the fancy shops located at the base of Ajax Mountain. Whichever vibe you’re going for, you’ll find it in Aspen–winter, spring, summer or fall.

 Phuket, Thailand

Go big or go home, right? Pop on over to Thailand for a girls trip and do some island hopping. The flight alone will be a blast. Enjoy all the gorgeous beaches, try paddle boarding or kayaking in the crystal blue waters, play with elephants at the sanctuary and see some monkeys on Monkey Hill. One thing you can’t pass up while in Thailand? A massage. They’re literally less than $10 so you should all fit in 1 (or 5). If you’re in the mood for some exciting nightlife, Phuket is the place to be. Hit the weekend night market for some local street food and and spend a night on the town at the bars on Bangla Road. Looking for a party on the beach? Head on over to Paradise Beach for the famous full moon party.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Is your group conflicted on where to go? Puerto Vallarta will satisfy everyone’s needs in your friend group. Got some girls just looking to relax? Perfect, there’s plenty of beaches and cabanas by the pool. Got a few ready to party? Great. Señor Frog’s will welcome you with open arms. If you’re feeling daring, try some water sports like parasailing, get a group and go scuba diving or take a day trip to the rain forest for some zip lining. Looking for a taste of culture and authentic Mexican food? Don’t be afraid to venture downtown and join a taco tour. (Yes, a taco tour.) And when you need a day to recharge and rejuvenate, head to a hotel spa for a facial, massage and/or mani/pedi. But are they necessary? Yes, yes they are. Remember, you’re on vacation.

Lisbon, Portugal

For those of you who don’t want to be basic (sorry), Europe is a great option, especially when flights are so darn cheap (see for yourself). Enter: Portugal. If your group of girls is all about culture, food, history and fun of course, this is a great option. (Pro tip: go ham on all the pastries and breads, they’re unreal). Not only is this vibrant city right on the ocean, but there are historic cathedrals, castles, food markets and squares everywhere you turn! A few must dos: ride Tram 28, take a day trip to Sintra and admire the views of the city from at least one of the many Miradoures. Lisbon is not skimping on nightlife, either. Round up the girls after a day of exploring and head to Bairro Alto and Pink Street for the poppin’ bars and cheap drinks.

All in all, any of these destinations would make for an epic girls trip. Just sayin’. Figure out the vibe you’re going for and find a destination that everyone can enjoy. When you’re ready to plan it, we’ll be here waiting with some discounted flights and hotels.
