The Roxy, Rathbone Pl, Flitzrovia
The Roxy is a great night out, even if the bouncers can be a little over zealous. The bar and club, situated near Tottenham Court Road, is a firm favorite with students from across the capital. Once you enter and head down the stairs you are invited into a cozy underground get away which has a mixture of cheap drinks, great music, friendly people, and cozy sofas to sit on. Between 6:30pm and 10:30pm cocktail pitchers are half price!
Bar Kick, Shoreditch
If you hadn’t guessed, Bar Kick is a popular bar in Shoreditch whose theme revolves around table football! Covering a first floor and basement level, the bar has multiple football tables on each level that anyone can play on. You do need a steely eyed gaze to spot when a table becomes available, but when you are on one you can invite anyone to battle. All cocktails are £8 and most beers are under £4—very kind on the student budget.
