Things to Do in Atlanta

Atlanta is the largest and capital city of Georgia. Though Atlanta is known as a ‘city of trees’ or ‘city in a forest,’ you don’t have to worry about being surrounded by a forest canopy all the time. It’s tallest landmark, the Bank of America Plaza, is 1,023 feet tall! It’s the tallest building in America outside of Chicago and New York. This “New Southern” city has several vibrant features, such as Underground Atlanta, a historic shopping and entertainment complex beneath the streets of downtown Atlanta. So find student travel deals and visit this fast growing international city. Must-see attractions include the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium and the new World of Coca-Cola. Here you can taste different pes of Coke products from all over the world. Atlanta has of a humid subtropical climate, so the best times to visit are spring (7-27 C or 44- 80 F on the average) and autumn (7-28 C or 44-82 F). Atlanta has two great parks and the Zoo Atlanta in Grant Park features a really cool panda exhibit. Students looking for a fun trip might find Atlanta to be a good student travel site.
