This document will tell you what information we collect from you, what we are going to do with the information, and your rights concerning the information. The information we receive depends on what you do when you visit our site.
If you visit our site to browse or read content, we use cookies (see below) to match your requests to a session, so we can remember if/when you logged on, and what products you are searching for. Some of our business partners, including Google, use cookies and action tags (also known as single pixel gifs or web beacons) on our site to measure advertising effectiveness, show our adds on other sites, and serve ads based on your prior visits to our website, but we have no access to or control over these cookies and action tags. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies and action tags is completely anonymous. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future. Sharing InformationNo personally identifiable information will be shared with our partners except as part of an explicit transaction- for example, providing your customer data to the airline on which you've purchased a ticket or a partner for verification of your student/faculty enrollment or youth status. Some of your information may be shared on an aggregate basis only, but that information will not be sufficient to permit the recipient to identify you.
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy companies or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that StudentUniverse.com, Inc or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information could be one of the transferred assets.

We use contact data from our contests to alert winners of their status, and to send users information about our company and promotional material from some of our partners.
