Qatar Airways Transit Visa: Tourists will be able to stay in Doha up to 96 hours

The new transit visa will allow airline passengers with a minimum transit time of five hours in Hamad International Airport, to stay in Qatar for up to 96 hours (four days). Apply for your pre-approved transit visa at least seven days (excluding public holidays) prior to your departure. The visa is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. The Qatar Airways transit visa is free of charge and available to passengers of all nationalities, upon confirmation of onward journey and completion of passport control procedures. All visas are approved and issued at the sole discretion of the Ministry of Interior.

Baggage Information

All passengers may bring at least one piece of carry-on luggage under 15 lbs and with dimensions within 20 x 15 x 10 inches, subject to increase based on cabin class. Free baggage allowance is highly dependent on cabin class and flight destination. When flying to or from the US, Argentina or Canada, Economy Class travelers are permitted to check 2 pieces of luggage not exceeding 50 lbs per piece and a maximum dimension of 63 inches.
