Meet the StudentUniverse Business Development Team

Our Business Development team grows the StudentUniverse B2B brand among universities, high schools and international travel companies. Though this team may be small, it’s mighty! They focus on building relationships with higher education personnel and travel professionals across the country so we can partner together to help students travel the world for less. Read on to meet some of our Business Development team members.


Director of Business Development

Eric grew up and graduated college in the state of Kentucky and has been in the travel industry for a number of years. He first started as a travel agent with FlightCentre 16 years ago before transitioning into corporate travel business development with FCm Travel Solutions and then moving into student travel with STA Travel in 2009. Going into his 11th year of business development in the higher education space, Eric values the partnerships and relationships that have come with helping faculty and students go abroad.


Born and raised in the Philippines, Carlo’s adventurous spirit has led him to living the American Dream. In the past 10 years, he has lived in six states, enjoying America’s landscape, diversity and professional opportunities. His interests include international education, travel and cultural exchange which has brought him to five continents where Carlo found valuable friendships with in his international community.


Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Rosina moved to South Texas as a little girl and has called Austin home since 2002 when she started attending St. Edward’s University. Her passion for travel started during a study abroad program in Seville, Spain, and she has not stopped traveling since! Seeing firsthand how traveling and studying abroad can positively impact a young person, she feels inspired working in the travel and international education industry.   Rosina’s interests include live music (Austin is the live music capital of the world!), vintage everything, books, and of course, all things travel!


Christine was born and raised in Canada and lived abroad in the UK and Australia before landing in California 10 years ago and deciding to make it her home. Christine has worked in International Education and Travel since graduating from University. She loves the spirit and the people of the study- and live-abroad community.
