This week, the StudentUniverse team was in Los Angeles at NAFSA’s 2017 Annual Conference and Expo. The NAFSA event is the largest gathering of experts in the field of international education each year.

Victor DeLeo, StudentUniverse’s Director of Business Development joined Claire Meyers of Campus Travel for a co-presentation on the “9 Travel Mistakes That Could Jeopardize Study Abroad and Faculty Programs.” The Soundstage presentation examined the common mistakes that interfere with a seamless travel experience: from limitations on group tickets, what insurance covers, visa requirements, unexpected costs and space hold expiry to university timelines and staff involvement. We helped attendees learn from the mistakes of other travelers so they could avoid making these mistakes when booking their own study abroad and faculty programs.
