We have some exciting news today – our managing director, Atle Skalleberg, has been appointed to global Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Flight Centre Travel Group (ASX: FLT). Atle will continue to work closely with the executive team at StudentUniverse to manage and grow the business globally, but will also play a central role in setting the strategy and improving the group’s digital commerce capabilities.
The goal here is to improve Flight Centre’s online presence, user experiences and booking services to help Flight Centre become the global leader in blending offline and online travel services to cater to the demands of tech-savvy leisure travelers.
