We are looking for someone who can get the right things done and quickly. You should have experience across all marketing channels and a proven ability to generate word of mouth and transactions at the right ROI. The perfect candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience, a ton of apps on their phone, great familiarity with social media and a passion for brand building.
You’ll provide leadership and direction on the conceptualization, development and execution of marketing plans and programs in support of StudentUniverse.com. As the Director of Marketing you will:
- Oversee in-house sales and marketing operations and sales support, including; email marketing, PPC, SEO, brand building, offline marketing, etc.
- Develop and oversee the brand strategy.
- Manage the measurement of marketing activity to ensure success.
- Identify market research needs and work with market research function to execute.
- Plan, execute, and improve a commission based campus representative program to employ student leaders as agents with the goal of increasing the overall awareness of our products.
- Find ways to increase public awareness of StudentUniverse through Public Relations efforts.
- Perform cost and performance analysis of past and future marketing activities within all target markets.
- Assist in refining the company’s marketing plan.
- Attend domestic/foreign fairs/conferences to attract more customers to the website.
- Prepare monthly reports of current effectiveness regarding domestic and international marketing efforts.
- Partner with sales leadership to create a cohesive bond between marketing and sales to drive business success globally.
- Partner with our research and insights team to better mine data to influence marketing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or related field and 3-5 years experience in job offered or 5 years progressive experience in Marketing Management positions.
