Boston Airports: Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) isn’t the best airport in the world. It’s not the best airport in the USA. It’s probably not even the best airport in New England. But, once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy to navigate. Getting out of Logan is mostly about trying to get to the train system, called the T. Take the Silver Line buses to the Blue Line of the T, and then Boston is pretty much open to you.

Boston Transportation: Boston is a small city, but it makes up for that by being really, really confusing. It used to be a city for horses and buggies, so the roads are as far away from a grid system as possible. The T is the stalwart train system of Boston, getting beat up by snow and salt every winter but still chugging along. Boston’s also a great walking city, so don’t be afraid to hoof it.

Things to do in Boston: When you visit Boston, you have a lot of options. You can head to Allston for drinks, dancing, and late night food. You can catch a retro movie at the Coolidge Corner theater. You can head to Fenway for sports bars and Red Sox crowds, or head to Faneuil Hall for gift shopping and the Freedom Trail walking tour.

Boston’s History: You don’t have to be a history nerd to appreciate all the cool stuff about Boston. Take a Duck boat ride or walk the Freedom Trail for an overview of all the history that Boston has in its city limits. Find out where Paul Revere is buried, or check out one of the oldest ships still floating, the USS Constitution. Everywhere you turn in Boston is steeped in history.
