Rio has certainly been a popular destination recently. This past year, Rio de Janeiro hosted the 2013 World Youth Day and this upcoming summer they will be hosting many FIFA World Cup games, including the final! In 2016, this destination will also be the first South American city to host the Summer Olympics. What is your #happyplace destination? Simply put, it’s a place that you travel to that makes you happy. When you travel there, you feel something special. It may inspire and excite you. It may make you want to do something great. Or it may put you at ease and make you feel at home. Perhaps it’s because of an amazing sight that you’ve never seen anywhere else.
