FlightsGreetings from the University of Denver Study Abroad Office!
Congratulations on your acceptance into the Cherrington Global Scholars program. As part of this program, the University of Denver will cover your air transportation expenses to your chosen study abroad site, through StudentUniverse. Please read all rules for purchase carefully.
Booking Procedure:
The University of Denver will pay for the lowest available and most direct airfare from, or compared, to Denver.
Please use the credit card code provided by the University of Denver.
Travel Insurance is not covered by your school and must be purchased separately.
Log-In Procedure:
Create a user name and password with your DU email: xxxxxxx@du.edu
If you already have a user name, sign in as usual.
Enter your desired outbound and return cities, and dates, and click 'search'.
Select an itinerary based on the rules required by the Cherrington Scholars program.
Please read all ticket rules carefully. Some student tickets may have additional rules and restrictions.
Enter the Discover credit card number provided by the University on payment page. Be sure to enter cardholder name as 'Cherrington Scholars'.
Once you have made your booking:
Once you have made your booking, one of two things will happen:
1) You receive your e-ticket confirmation within 1-2 business days.
2) You receive a follow up from Student Universe regarding your booking. You may be required to follow up with further information, or payment of a balance.
Rules of Purchase:
StudentUniverse will verify all booking requests and pricing before tickets are issued. You will be notified within 24-48 hours.
The University will only pay for the lowest available round-trip airfare from Denver or another gateway for your program dates.
You may depart from other cities than Denver, depart early or stay later, add stopovers, or travel to or from different cities than your program dates and destination.
If your airfare is more expensive than the lowest from Denver, for your program dates, you will be required to pay the fare difference.
Your ticket must be a round-trip ticket. One-way fares are not allowed.
You must purchase your ticket at least 31 days in advance of your program dates.
If you are not a Cherrington Scholar, you may still use this service; however, you will be responsible for the entire purchase price of your ticket.
