Dining in Boston
Boston is not only great for college student trips, it’s also renowned for excellent New England seafood and local specialties such as baked beans, cod, and clam chowder. You have to love the popular Boston ice cream. Check out genuine Italian food and pastries in the North End, as well as some great sushi joints in Kenmore Square (near Fenway Park) and through Coolidge Corner (in Brookline). Chinatown has some great hole-in-the-wall eateries with outstanding prices, though the area is a bit dicey. And make sure you stop into Cheers, the original bar from the show–it’s located just across the street from the Public Garden. Boston has just about every type of cuisine you could imagine, from a lot of delicious but cheap eateries to and more upscale, truly superb restaurants.
