Finding the best deal isn’t always about finding the lowest price. A number of things have to be factored in, like room types, bookings fees, taxes, seasonality and location to name a few.
So how to find the best deal? Here are 5 tips that may help.

There are hundreds of “deals” every day. Each one of them won’t be spelled out as a super good deal and promoted all over the place. So how do you know you’re getting the best deal? Really, the best way to know for sure is to compare.
What are your main goals for your trip? Are you close-by your top 5 things you want to do? Is there any nightlife nearby? If not, why? You may be saving money on accommodation, but spending twice as much on transportation so always look on the map.
Make sure you confirm your room type. Most sites just show lowest prices, but you may end up staying in a Dorm Room with shared bathroom facilities. While this is a fun experience, it’s not necessarily the best option if you’re looking for a romantic getaway. So pay attention to room types, and bathroom options. There is much to choose from.
Always look for extra charges. The room you choose may be cheaper but you might have to pay for breakfast, wi-fi and even towels! It0s always best to make sure you know what is included in the price so you don’t get any surprises when you arrive.
