5 Stunning Places You've Never Heard About
Here is a list of places that I bet you have never heard of. With the ease of travel today, many of these gorgeous sites are easy to get to, but often go unnoticed. Sure you can visit Munich, Germany, but have you ever driven outside the cities and seen what lies in the countryside? Try not to miss these stunning places when you take your next trip!
1. Plitvice Lakes, Croatia:
It’s hard to look at a picture of these lakes and not be amazed. Croatia has many beautiful beaches to offer to tourists, but the Plitvice Lakes are breath taking. Located in the central part of Croatia, Plitvice may be slightly out of the way of major cities like Dubrovnik and Split. However, these cascading lakes are something not to be missed. With small wooden bridges connecting you to different parts of land, you are able to get an up close look at this amazing scenery.
2. Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria, Germany:
Bavaria, is of course, known for is famous German spirit and Hofbräuhaus. But if you can a chance to step outside the city for an afternoon, you must check out Neuschwanstein Castle. The castle sits on top of a mountain, and although it is a small climb to get up there (a bus will drive you most of the way), the view is absolutely stunning. It also has significance in American culture! This castle was the model for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and other similar castles. The best view of Neuschwanstein Castle comes from a bridge that hangs above the Pollät Gorge. It is a slightly longer walk, but the view, and picture opportunity, is completely worth it!

Not quite as landscape filled, but just as beautiful, is the town of Cotswold, England. The small villages of Cotswold have a classic English feel to them. The stone buildings featured everywhere make you feel as if you have stepped back in time. Many people will visit England to see London, and although London has lots to offer, Cotswold brings you a sense of history. Time seems to have stood still in this beautiful countryside with historic market towns and limestone villages. Don’t leave England without a stop to Cotswold!
