Dining in Mexico
With no less than 15,000 (!) restaurants, you have lots to choose from in Mexico City. Aside from Mexican the most popular cuisines there are Argentinean (think steak), Spanish, and Italian. But you’ll also find a surprisingly number of Japanese, French, and Arabic budget dining options in Mexico City.
Hungry for vegetarian? Check out Super Soya or El Yug. Classic local tacos go for cheap at El Kaliman, while for adventurous eaters on a budget El Tajin offers up pre-Hispanic recipes like succulent octopus. In Cancun, delicious Mexican meals are available at Santos Mariscos and El Tacolote, and are slightly more expensive at La Pacita and Labna.
