Nightlife in Milan

The first place to check out in Milan is Como Avenue near Garibaldi Station. It’s jam packed full of bars and clubs that are sure to be a great time! Navigli quarter, near Porta Ticinese Avenue, is another great place where you can find restaurants, open air cafes, and small pubs. To find a handy guide to Milan Nightlife hit up a local pub and pick up a free booklet named “Zero2″. Other hip spots are the bars on Monte Nero. There are also a lot of great clubs for Gay and Lesbian students. Wednesday and Thursday nights at Elephant, located at Porta Venezia Station, are “gay night” and are worth a visit.

Being a highly sophisticated city, Milan’s nightlife is expected to be lively, but also quite expensive. Milan isn’t also a typical student city because it’s nightlife during the first few days of the week is not as lively as during weekends. Usually, parties start on Thursdays, and that party atmosphere continues until Sunday nights. Milan has hundreds and hundreds of bars, pubs, cafés, and wine cellars. It’s a must that you set aside 5–7 Euros if you want to experience the highlight of Milan’s nightlife and the happy hour, which is on Sundays from 6 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., where you can drink cocktails along with buffets with several courses, pasta, fish, or meat in all of Milan’s clubs.
