Dining in Mumbai
Mumbai has a lot of good, authentic, inexpensive Indian cuisine though you will not lack for American fast food if you do ever long for McDonalds. Some great traditional Indian food includes Vada Pav, a mashed potato patty sandwiched between two pieces of bread; Pav Bhaji, mashed vegetables cooked in spices; Bhel Puri, puffed rice with spices and chutneys; and Pani Puri, puri bread filled with tasty sauces. These tasty foods can be found all around the city. A word of caution though, only get Pani Puri from clean, reputable places, not street vendors.
