Things to do in Prague
Prague has many different districts, or Prahas, and some places don’t use the same numbering system, so make sure to get landmarks around where you going before you leave. The first thing to check out is the Prague Castle, the biggest ancient castle in the world according to the Guinness World Records. This huge building rises high above the city and offers beautiful views of the green spaces below. Right there is also the St. Vitus Cathedral with its lookout tower, the Castle Picture Gallery, and several museums and the beautiful Royal Garden. What a day! Spend your second day exploring Old Town, Prague’s historic center, which includes numerous historical buildings and monuments, the famed Astronomical Clock, the Gothic Tyn Church, mural-covered Storch building, and the Jan Hus monument. Take a trip back in history when visiting the Josefov, the old historical Jewish ghetto, complete with preserved historical synagogues. The old New Synagogue there is Europe’s oldest active synagogue, and it also houses the famed Prague Golem. Prague also sports a New Town and Lesser Town, both cool places to explore. Prague is also the museum capital of the world, with more than 20 in the city center. With the Czech National Museum, National Technical Museum, Military Museum, and the Pedagogical Comenius Museum, you’re all set to learn about Prague. Nightlife in Prague
Known as “hospoda” in Czech, pubs are abundant throughout the city and are an important part of the local culture. Look out for a green sign hanging outside a shop, indicating that an excellent local beer is sold inside. Famous Czech beer brands like Pilsner Urquell and Budweiser Budvar can be found in Prague pubs, as well as Staropramen, the local beer in Prague. In Prague it is customary in pubs to sit with a group of people if there are no free tables, and is known to have a really active nightlife, so go out and explore.

Travel From Prague
Buses and trains are frequent and quite inexpensive and can get you to even the smallest village. Practically every major European city can be reached by bus or train from Prague.
