Dublin is the thriving capital city of the Republic of Ireland. Not only the largest city, Dublin is technically the only city in Ireland. With that said, it is without a doubt the most popular way of international travel into the country. The Dublin Airport is easily accessible from the city. Dublin is rich in tradition, history, and national pride. Wherever you go, you can see shamrocks and green and orange flags waiving proudly in the air. Old Irish Jigs play in shops and pubs. And there are plenty of pubs in the city, so you surely won’t go thirsty. A perfect place for students who want to gain some independent experience and see a new place; while at the same time feeling the comforts of the English language, and the occasional Starbucks sprinkled across the city.

Can you say pubs? Not like “oh, it’s the week-end, let’s go out.” No more like “umm it’s Tuesday at 1 pm and we just got out of class so everyone will already be at the pubs.” Life was so glorious studying abroad in Dublin. Wish I could go back!
