Los Cabos, Mexico is known for its wild parties and and crazy antics. Every spring break, crowds of college students prove that spring break alone is far crazier and more exciting than any other time of the year. San Jose Cabo and Cabo San Lucas make up what most people refer to as Los Cabos. And thanks in part to the MTV reality show, The Hills, Cabo has received much public attention as the vacation retreat of the Laguna Beach and O.C. rich kids. And who would not want to feel like a million bucks in a lavish resort city? Well here you can still feel like “those” kids, while not spending your life savings. Twenty years ago Cabo was little more then a tucked away fishing village. Today it is the spring break destination chosen by millions of eager college students. From incredible events, sick water activities, live music performances, and crazy parties, to fun excursions, shopping, and great food, Cabo has it all for you.

Activities
The best thing about Cabo is undoubtedly the warm water and the beaches. Scattered Palm Trees line the bone white sand that meets the glistening blue waters. Cabo is known for the extravagant and fun water activities and excursions. There are dozens of water sports companies that supply rentals and lessons for surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, wave runners, fishing, and para-sailing. ATV off roads adventures offers trips with ATV’s, mountain bikes, rappelling, guides, and transportation. The Cabo Glass Factory gives tours of how glass blowing is performed with a little information on the history of this beautiful art. This makes for a nice half day if you are feeling a little spoiled by the heat of the sun. There are cruises both during the day and night to shake things up a bit. Jazz Cruises, Booze Cruises, and Reggae Jungle Cruises all include fun with friends and good drinks and music.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Cabo is what you’d probably expect: loud and exciting. No matter where you go, you will most likely run into a crowd of spring breakers looking to have a good time. El Squid Roe is the largest bar in the city and stays open very late. It is probably one of the most crowded bars during spring break too. Gigglin Marlin is the oldest bar and they do a hilarious waiter dance show there while you sit and drink. Mandala must not be missed either. Keep in mind it may be difficult to get into Mandala, so you might want to arrive early. This three level multi-club has a rooftop level with sand and cabanas and palm trees–truly an experience. Billygan’s is the best beach-side bar and is also very popular. If you’re looking for a place to start out the night, look to The Nowhere Bar. It is a cool pre-gaming spot.
