Spring Break in Europe Pictures

Paris and London

These two cities are often linked together because they make sense geographically and are both great cities to explore.

Rome, Florence, and Venice

These Italian favorites let college students get the real flavor of the country and its many different landscapes and styles.

Switzerland and Germany

One day you could be skiing the breathtaking Swiss alps, the next you could be wandering through a historic castle in Hamburg.

Greece

The cool thing about Greece is that there are so many places to go and things to do. A good suggestion is to start in Athens (a must see) and work your way down to the islands of Crete and Santorini.

Spain

Like Italy, it takes a whole week in this country see just a small portion of what it has to offer. Madrid and Barcelona are the top spots for tourists. However, you might want to look into Valencia or Seville during your time here.

If you are thinking of spending a little more time in Europe, you can add even more cities and activities to your itinerary. Ten days to two weeks here opens up many more possibilities. Keep in mind that it is often better to visit less cities and spend more time in each, rather than trying to cram in a city a day. You will be less stressed from all the traveling and you will get to see more of the places you are going to.

I’m interesting in going to Europe for my Spring Break. However, I want to visit more than two countries, so what should I do? I really want to go Paris, Rome and Florence and Venice, Switzerland, Greece, and Spain. Thank you.

I work for StudentUniverse, and would be happy to answer a few of the questions on this forum.

*7 day trip-Please call one of our agents, or fill out the link on the homepage. Our agents are available at 800-272-9676 24 hours a day MON-SAT, and 11-6 (ET) on Sunday.

We’d be happy to check out the best deals there, sounds like a great time……from the Champs-Élysées to La Rambla!

*I would say limit your trip to two countries, only so you don’t spend your entire trip traveling, but hey, whatever you want to do, do it. It sounds like Italy is your # 1 draw, so maybe start there. Rome really requires at least 2 full days, Florence too, but do some surfing and see what really attracts you to these cities. In terms of flights, I’d recommend an open jaw which means you fly into one city, then leave form another. In between, you can take the train throughout Europe. To book your flights, go to http://www.studentuniverse.com and click on the multi-city option. If you’re traveling with more than one person, call us at 800-272-9676 to book together. If you do go to Rome, get pizza at THE best place there, Pizzeria Baffetto right near Piazza Navona

*Anyone interested in traveling to Europe for Spring Break, your timing is great. The Euro is down significantly form 1-2 years ago, and flights are much cheaper too (lower fuel surcharges). If you’re traveling solo, just go to our site and see what works for you. If you’re part of a group, fill out the Spring Break form on our homepage. Either way, we can get you there cheap, and we have cheap places to stay….hostels throughout the continent.

I hope this helps, happy to answer more questions….happy travels!
