Rome & Tuscany
During this seven day spring break tour, you’ll explore beautiful Italian country sides, ancient Roman architecture, quaint Tuscan villas and medieval castles and churches. You’ll start in Rome, where you’ll visit historic landmarks such as the Coliseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish steps and the Vatican City. At your next stop, you’ll explore the cobblestone streets of Florence, with its beautiful gardens, piazzas, and street side cafes. Then, you’ll escape the hustle and bustle of Florence for a quiet daytrip to Greve in Chianti, complete with a wine tasting at a local vineyard, a nature hike, and traditional Italian cuisine and aperitivos.
Chris Pace, SnoworSand’s local travel expert in Tuscany, is excited for students to join SnoworSand’s Italian spring break. Born and raised in Florence, his family has a long history of selling handmade goods from a street side stand in the San Lorenzo Marketplace. Chris studied at Gonzaga University in Washington State where he played varsity soccer before returning home to assist his father’s business and join SnoworSand to show students a true taste of Florentine culture.

What is SnoworSand?
SnoworSand is a new kind of travel company focused on people and experiences rather than plane tickets and hostel reservations. All of their trips are guided by real locals who personally show guests the best of their cities through itineraries they design themselves. That means you can skip overpriced, overcrowded tourist traps and let SnoworSand’s locals show you their favorite local restaurants, hangouts, nightlife, and worthwhile sites.
All spring break trips are partially inclusive, meaning SnoworSand provides accommodations with breakfast, select activities, sunset aperitivos, a welcome dinner and a local expert to show you a great time and the true taste of local culture.
