State College
State College, named after Penn State University, is located in central Pennsylvania. When Penn State decided to move it’s campus to the center of the state, they literally built a new town around the college, and gave it it’s own airport. Now, this town is dominated by everything college-related, with some different amusement places nearby. Penn State currently has over 84,000 students enrolled and is one of the ten largest universities in America. State College is also home to the Nittany Lions, their division A football team, which plays nationally-acclaimed games in their massive stadium. Come see why the people in State College proudly say, “We are Penn State!”
