College football is the main thing to do in Knoxville. Neyland Stadium, one of the largest college football stadiums in the country, hosts games every week that are incredible. Be careful, school spirit runs high at UTE and the fans are very supportive of their team. There’s also some arts in the town, with the Clarence Brown, Black Box, Tennessee, and Bijou theater all within driving distance of the city. These companies put on great shows and sometimes feature mainstream acts. Knoxville also hosts all sorts of festivals from the Dogwood Arts Festival to the Blooms Days Garden Festival. The best thing to do in any college town at night is follow the crowd. To hit up a good party, whether at the best local bar or frat house, be sure to follow the leader and you’re sure to find somewhere great to go.
