Berlin is a great city for a short visit. If you are traveling through Europe, make Berlin one of your priority cities. It really only takes a few days to hit all the highlights, though they are amazing, and you will be happy you got a chance to take in some German culture. Voted one of the cleanest cities in Europe, Berlin is nice for strolling around while taking in the sites. The culture is lively, the food is delectable, and the beer, well, you know. Amstel House Hostel Berlin

This cool house was recently redone and looks awesome. Besides its looks, the rates are unbeatable and the front desk staff are all very nice. There are also a lot of great bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Helter Skelter Hostel Berlin

If you like to party, this place is for you. The prices are low and the atmosphere is very youthful. Some of the apartments and rooms even have their own bathrooms and kitchen use. Not a bad deal at all.

HappyBed Hostel

Though this hostel is a bit further out of the city than some others, it is really good for if you’re planning to stay with a group. This place offers singles to four bed rooms. A lot of the rooms have private bathrooms as well. From here, you will need to take the metro to get into the city.

A&O Hostel Am Zoo

If you don’t mind being close to the trains then you will find this a nice, clean place to stay. In fact, the A&O is one of the cleanest hostels you can find in Berlin. Plus being so close to the train station means not having to lug your stuff around or having to take a taxi.

Sylter Hof Hotel

The rates here are pretty good and you get a free breakfast each morning. If you stay in the newer part, there are even eating areas in each room. This hotel is a very short walk from many bars and places of interest, including the Zoo.
