One of the nicer airport hotels, the Schiphol is a good place to stay for a night or two while flying in or out of the city. A pretty upscale place, the hotel boasts a fitness center, sports area, 24-hour lobby, and a few different restaurants and bars.

Best Western Delphi Hotel

Though it wouldn’t look it from the front, the Best Western Delphi is a nice place to stay. Once inside you will see that it is just as great as other places. Nice, colorful rooms and a staff that speaks English. Museums and shopping are all within walking distance here.

Amstel Intercontinental Amsterdam

Built on the water, this historic hotel is quite beautiful. The word ‘luxury’ will pop into your head when you step through the main doors into the lobby. This is definitely a splurge, but completely worth the extra money.

Atlas Hotel

Rich, dark colored rooms give this hotel an old-school feel. Not exactly a youthful hotspot, the Atlas attracts a slightly more elite and older crowd. But don’t let that stop you from reserving a room. Staying at the Atlas is a nice time for anyone. And if you do stay there, don’t forget to have the breakfast!

The Golden Tulip is located on a quaint, old street. With a lovely outdoor restaurant right out in front, you will know when you have arrived. The rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. Plus a lot of attractions and nightlife are withing walking distance.
