If you are interested in seeing loads of classic Chinese architecture, it is a must that you visit the Yuyuan Gardens. You can also go to the top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (standing at 468 meters tall, this is Asia’s tallest TV tower) in order to get a better view of Shanghai. If you want to see the giant Panda and other exotic animals, you can make a trip to the Shanghai Zoo.

The after-hours capital of China, Shanghai is filled with a frenetic nightlife scene. One of the famous nightlife sections in Shanghai is Xin Tian Di, a small pedestrianized area of the city that features numerous bars and cafes. Although bar prices are surprisingly hefty, there are still a number of bars that offer happy hours and drink-all-you-can deals. If you’re looking for more mainstream, high-end designer brands from around the world, head to Huaihai road. Here you will find the Parkson Shopping Center, which is also worth a visit. If you’re in the market for more inexpensive merchandise, the North Sichuan road would be the best place to go.
