Aside from the obvious (you, your clothes, your books, relative sanity with three dashes of excitement and nerves) here are some Freshman Essentials I’ve compiled from experience.
One thing I absolutely love is the deliciously non-linear path that takes people from childhood to their vocation(s) as adults. What constitutes a “sexy” college? Sexy points are given based on the following criteria:
- Availability of Sexual Health Resources
- Demonstration of progressive sexual politics
- Empowered students. This means taking control and responsibility over their own decisions, whether that means frequent sex discussion groups or provocative blogging. The point is, their is an open dialogue about sex. Sex itself isn’t inherently sexy, empowerment and responsibility are what make sex positive!
